Chapter 1: Information
Angelo walked down the stairs to find two men dressed in black sitting on the couch. "We have the information you asked for," one of them said. Angelo and his butler sat on a nearby chair and discussed matters for quite a while. "... so you can tell me more later?" Angelo asked. The two men nodded. "We have the resources already, it is a matter of time before we can tell you more about the matter. Here's our contact number." No longer than five minutes later, the doorbell rang. It was another visitor. The two men left through the back door, unseen like the wind.
The person who rang the doorbell left a package at Angelo's doorstep. "A new assignment, it seems," Angelo muttered irritably. "What kind of mission is it, sir?" "It's an abduction mission. I'm supposed to grab someone named Altha Cardino from the country of Reito." Angelo knew exactly what kind of task it was. He was to abduct the head engineer of a top secret Reito government project known as Sulegna. The package contained details of Sulegna and its purposes. Something felt positively wrong to Angelo as he continued to read the the project details.
He knew he didn't need this information to abduct Altha Cardino. He read the mission briefing again. "Bring back a prototype of the Sulegna project. Doctor Cardino will assist you in acquiring this highly valued piece of hardware. She has agreed to teach you how to use it, but she cannot give you the white papers. You are to keep the Sulegna project prototype, but you must hand Dr. Cardino to us."
"Keep the prototype?" he thought. He knew something was off. He told the butler to leave the house and not return until his services were called upon again. Angelo gave him his pay. The butler understood and bid farewell to his employer. Angelo made a few calls. He put on his own black suit and locked down his living quarters. A car arrived to take him to his aerial transport. The driver greeted him, "Hello, Mr. Nerezza. Seems that the Government always keeps you and me continuously busy. Hop on, the pilot is waiting for you." The car sped off from the Nerezza living quarters. Angelo knew he might not see this place again for a long time. Some smoke spewed from the house's chimney. The papers were destroyed.
